Faith Medina is a National Certified Counselor, American Society of Addiction Medicine Trained, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, and Licensed Resident in Counseling pursuing credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Virginia. She served 5 years in the United States Navy and is currently a supportive Navy spouse. Faith received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. 

Faith works with individuals across the lifespan, from childhood through adolescence through adulthood. She has a special interest in seeing individuals healed from trauma in all its various forms. Whether working with a child who has experienced abuse or an adult who can’t regulate their mood, Faith is extremely skilled at meeting clients where they are without judging them while simultaneously moving them towards their goals. 

For Faith, the most important aspect of counseling is “providing a safe and confidential place for you to seek help and be your open and honest self”. She hopes all clients she works with will reach a sense of well-being and clarity.
